Straight from the SXSW festival circuit comes Gloria Mercer's gripping queer-feminist psychological thriller! When a romantic getaway takes a very unexpected turn, a woman finds herself drawn into a dangerous world of desire, secrets and shifting loyalties. Seductive, suspenseful and full of surprises!

Directed by Lorena Ros Sanz, this moving documentary follows a group of trans women in Barcelona fighting for a place to call home, dignity and the freedom to shape their own futures. A powerful story of friendship, resilience and solidarity, told with warmth and humour. Followed by a Q&A with the director!

✊ 9 PM | SHORT FILM PROGRAMME: THE ART OF RESISTANCE

Resistance comes in many forms! From quiet acts of defiance to bold challenges against injustice, this collection of international short films explores what it means to stand up, speak out and refuse to be silenced. Fierce, thought-provoking and inspiring! Followed by Q&As with attending filmmakers.
