🏆 FFFB 2026 WINNER SPOTLIGHT 🎬
We're celebrating FIVE WALLS, directed by Mey Montero, winner of the Best Short Film Award at this year's festival.
Set in the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War, the film follows Julia, a woman pretending to be a widow while secretly hiding her fugitive husband behind a wall in her home. As fear and silence take hold, the boundaries between protection and imprisonment begin to blur.
A gripping and atmospheric portrayal of secrecy, sacrifice, and the struggle for freedom, where the greatest threat may be hiding within your own walls.
A huge congratulations to Mey Montero and the entire cast and crew on this well-deserved recognition 👏👏👏
