Festival Day 5- the Grand Finale!!!
ONE LAST DAY. ONE BIG FESTIVAL FINALE
Can you believe we're already here? It's Sunday and we're getting ready to wrap up the 8th festival edition in style.
But before we say goodbye to this year's edition, we've got one more exciting day waiting for you! From mind-bending short films and inspiring industry conversations to our closing feature, winner announcements, there's still plenty to experience
5 PM | NEXT LEVEL - SHORT FILM PROGRAMME
Let's take things to another dimension! Expect wildly imaginative stories, surreal worlds, dark humour, unexpected encounters and plenty of surprises. From futuristic scenarios to wonderfully absurd situations, these international shorts push the boundaries of storytelling and prove that creativity really has no limits.
And of course, you'll get the chance to meet some of the creative minds behind the films during our Q&As with attending filmmakers
6 PM | THE POWER OF SOUND
Ever wondered how much of a film's magic happens through sound?
Together with Filmtonfrauen we're bringing together talented women from the sound industry for our final panel discussion! We'll dive into the fascinating world of sound design, composition and audio storytelling, exploring how sound creates atmosphere, builds tension and transforms the way we experience cinema.
A wonderful opportunity to hear from the women whose work we so often hear but rarely see.
7:30 PM | ISOLA - CLOSING FILM
Our final feature takes us to a remote Italian island with ISOLA directed by Nora Jaenicke, celebrating its Germany Premiere
A haunting psychological drama about desire, power and manipulation, where an unexpected encounter disrupts an already fragile relationship. Atmospheric, intriguing and the perfect film to close our international programme.
The announcement of our 2026 festival winners + the screening of our winning music video, keeping one of our favourite festival traditions alive.
Closing festival drinks to toast five days of amazing cinema and wonderful connections!
Plus, our festival posters are looking for new homes! Feel free to take one with you as a little souvenir of FFFB 2026.
Whether you've been with us all week or haven't made it to the festival yet, TODAY is your last chance to be part of our 8th edition
