After sharing our film programme, we’re thrilled to spotlight the people who make this year’s edition so special - our amazing volunteers!

Meet Sophie A German-Australian actress who grew up between Germany, Australia, and Malaysia, Sophie has worked across commercials, film, theatre, and voice acting. With a first-class honours degree in screen acting and ongoing training in Europe and the US, she brings both talent and passion to her craft.

Sophie is especially devoted to storytelling and female-driven cinema, and we’re so excited to have her supporting this year’s festival in amplifying women’s voices in film.
