Official Selection 2026!

The time has finally come…

After watching an incredible number of films, documentaries, music videos, experimental works and passion projects from around the world, we have made one of the hardest and most exciting decisions of the year: the Official Selection for the 8th edition of the “Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin” is complete.

To everyone whose work has been selected: Huge Congratulations! We are so proud to share your stories with our audience from 7-11 October, 2026 at Kino Moviemento.

And to everyone who submitted: Thank you so much You trusted us with your work, inspired us and reminded us why this festival exists. It is never easy to make these decisions, and we truly wish we could showcase every film.

Please know that your voice matters, and we hope your work continues to find the audience and recognition it deserves.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be revealing the selected films and introducing the amazing filmmakers behind them. Stay tuned, we can’t wait to share this year’s programme with you and welcome you to the festival this October!
