Team Intro 2026: Serena
With FFFB 8 getting closer, it’s time to introduce some of the wonderful people helping us bring this year’s festival to life!
First up: meet Serena Meltzer
Serena is an Australian filmmaker, actor and facilitator based in Berlin. Her creative work spans acting, writing and directing, with a strong interest in stories exploring identity, culture and social issues.
She is currently starring as "Tali" in Carly Brand’s "Nice Jewish Girl", which is making its way around the film festival circuit across Europe, the US and Brazil.
Serena is also developing her own work behind the camera. Her short film "ANHEDONIA", which she wrote, directed and starred in is currently in post-production.
We’re so happy to have Serena joining our volunteer team this year and bringing her creativity, energy and love for film to FFFB
