"Not what you think" (Feature Film) (Turkey) (Berlin Premiere)

Three siblings who are different from each other in terms of mentality and lifestyle: Tahsin (44), Yasin (38) and Remziye (34). Due to the mysterious death of their father, they meet in the city they were born. During the time in Tokat, sometimes they get close to each other in a warm relationship, and sometimes they get tense. Sometimes one to two alliances are formed. The tangled structure of siblinghood is experienced in all aspects. They realize that they remember their common past differently. Tahsin and Yasin learns shocking truth about Remziye. Nothing is as any of them know.

Director Biography - Vuslat Saracoglu

Vuslat Saracoglu graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University with a degree in Sociology and International Relations. In 2010, she attended the Sarajevo Talent Campus. She was among the cast and worked as the production coordinator in the feature film WHY CAN'T I BE TARKOVSKY. Her first feature DEBT was screened at various international festivals including Gothenburg, San Francisco, Carthage, Kerala and Moscow Film Festivals. It was also granted with Golden Tulip for the Best Film at 37th Istanbul Film Festival, Best Actress, Best Editing at 6th Bosphorus Film Festival, Best First Film at 8th Malatya Film Festival. In 2019 The leading actor Serdar Orcin was granted with 'The Best Actor ' at Sadri Alisik Cinema Awards. Her second feature film project “Not What You Think” was granted by Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism with production support and won Pitching award at Antalya Film Forum 2020.
