"Planet Femme- Green Shorts"
This year’s eco-focused shorts spotlight women and non-binary voices confronting our planet’s most urgent challenges with imagination, resilience, and defiance. From the storm-battered mangroves of the Sundarbans to the drought-stricken streets of Cape Town, from a fairy’s polluted sky to a drag queen’s stage, these films capture climate change’s human stories, its grief, its grit, and its unexpected sparks of hope.
Blending documentary, animation, performance, and poetry, this programme celebrates those fighting for the earth, reimagining waste, preserving traditions, and finding beauty in untouched places. Together, they remind us that protecting the planet is as much about saving our humanity as it is about saving our home.
