Closing Short Film Programme: "What She Knows"

From prison cells to haunted coastlines, from hospital wards to the edges of life itself, these shorts explore the hidden knowledge women carry - about loss, love, resistance, and the human spirit’s capacity to endure. A dancer defies the walls that confine her. An interpreter hears a truth she’s tried to forget. A caregiver and her patient lock horns in a battle of wills. In Gothic shadows, a woman confronts her sins; in a future wasteland, a robot learns the language of grief. Whether facing death, injustice, or the supernatural, each protagonist holds fast to what she knows, even when the world would rather she forget.
