  • Brenda Akele Jorde

    Brenda is a documentary film director who recently directed her first feature-length documentary, "THE HOMES WE CARRY," filmed across Germany, South Africa, and Mozambique. This documentary premiered at DOK LEIPZIG and earned Brenda a prestigious “First Steps Awards” nomination for this year.

    Brenda also directed the documentary series "Family of Choice," released on RTL+ in June 2023. She is also involved in Berlin's film festival scene as a curator and presenter and engages with social institutions as a circus educator, enriching the lives of various communities.

    Ellie Jamen is the CEO of Wscripted. Prior to founding Wscripted, Ellie worked in film distribution and sales, including at eOne Films in Toronto. Her business and audiovisual IP law education and her experience in Europe and North America give Ellie a unique international perspective on the entertainment industry.

    Ellie has been a three-time guest of honor at the Cannes Film Market since 2021, where Wscripted unveils its Cannes Screenplay List of top scripts by women and non-binary writers.

  • Giancarlo M. Sandoval

    Giancarlo M. Sandoval (they/them) is a neuroqueer writer for the feminist magazine Filmlöwin.

    They co-founded the FLINTA* platform nowhen for creative writing about film and the Berlin-based neurodiverse organisation Neurodiverse Gemeinschaft e.V.

    Their work focuses on neurodiversity, queerness, feminist film theory and formal/figurative analysis.

  • Amy Hoogenboom

    Amy Hoogenboom is a pivotal figure at Australia's prestigious Flickerfest International Short Film Festival. She's a programmer and has served on the juries of renowned awards like the ATOM Awards and Le Petit Cannes Film Festival.

    Her extensive experience spans production roles at various film festivals, including Flickerfest, Melbourne International Film Festival, and Edinburgh International Film Festival. She's now gearing up for her next venture with IDFA. She's also lent her expertise to several large-scale music festivals in Australia.

  • Clara Zoe My-Linh von Arnim

    Clara Zoe My-Linh von Arnim studied film directing at the renowned German Film and Television Academy (short: dffb) since 2015. Next to her work as a film director, von Arnim participated in many international films such as Oliver Stones "Snowden", "A cure for Wellness" directed by Gore Verbinski and the Netflix production "Queens Gambit" (Scott Frank /2020) as an Assistant Director.

    Her short films were screened in prestigious festivals like the International Hofer Film Festival. Her short film "Rushes" (In den Binsen) was nominated for the German Short Film price.

  • Beatrice Möller

    Beatrice Möller, an award-winning filmmaker and director based in Berlin, brings a wealth of experience as both a producer and director to her craft. Her formative years were split between South Africa and Germany, where she later pursued her passion for film at Bauhaus University in Weimar.

    Beyond her filmmaking pursuits, Beatrice shares her knowledge and experience as a teacher at TU-Berlin (Technische Universität Berlin), enriching the next generation of filmmakers with her insights and expertise.
