Brenda is a documentary film director who recently directed her first feature-length documentary, "THE HOMES WE CARRY," filmed across Germany, South Africa, and Mozambique. This documentary premiered at DOK LEIPZIG and earned Brenda a prestigious “First Steps Awards” nomination for this year.

Brenda also directed the documentary series "Family of Choice," released on RTL+ in June 2023. She is also involved in Berlin's film festival scene as a curator and presenter and engages with social institutions as a circus educator, enriching the lives of various communities.

Next to her work as a film director, von Arnim participated in many international films such as Oliver Stones "Snowden", "A cure for Wellness" directed by Gore Verbinski and the Netflix production "Queens Gambit" (Scott Frank /2020) as an Assistant Director.

Her short films were screened in prestigious festivals like the International Hofer Film Festival. Her short film "Rushes" (In den Binsen) was nominated for the German Short Film price.
