🏆 FFFB 2026 WINNER SPOTLIGHT 🎬
We're celebrating ALBAŞ, directed by Merve Yıldız, winner of the Best Screenplay category at FFFB 2026.
Blurring the lines between fairy tales and reality, ALBAŞ follows a young boy growing up in the countryside, caught between society's expectations of masculinity and the freedom he discovers in fairy tales.
A thought-provoking and beautifully layered take on identity, vulnerability, and the courage to challenge traditional gender roles, questioning who gets to be the hero and who is expected to be the villain.
A huge congratulations to Merve Yıldız 💜👏
