Film Intro: Room
When does the place meant to protect you begin to feel like a prison? π€
In "ROOM" by Li Han (China π¨π³), a woman retreats into the solitude of her apartment, only for her carefully protected sanctuary to be invaded by the relentless noise of the outside world.
Claustrophobic and atmospheric, "Room" explores isolation, anxiety and the fragile boundaries between personal freedom and human connection, asking whether shutting out the world can ever truly bring peace.
Li Han is an emerging filmmaker from China whose work in "Room" uses space, sound and movement to explore the psychological experience of isolation.
