"TALL HOURS" by Sophie Black (New Zealand), follows a father in the aftermath of his daughter’s tragic death as he faces a devastating choice: what should happen to the horse that killed her?

"Tall Hours" explores the complicated relationship between humans and animals and the decisions we are forced to make when there are no easy answers.

Sophie Black is a writer and director based in New Zealand, working across documentary, music videos and commercials. Her award-winning documentary "Believing is Seeing" screened at international festivals including "Hot Docs in Toronto" and was selected by "Short of the Week".
