"WOULD YOU BE DEAD BY NOW?" by Emelie Aylin Paylar (Germany 🇩🇪), follows newly famous country-techno icon "Wild Ryda", who is thrilled to be invited onto her favourite show, "Real Talk". But live on air, things take a turn she never expected.

When Wild Ryda stands up for herself, she ignites a chain reaction of anger, resistance and self-empowerment. "Would You Be Dead By Now?" transforms everyday gender-based oppression into a bold feminist fantasy of fighting back.

Emelie Aylin Paylar is a filmmaker from Stuttgart studying scenic directing at the "Film Academy Baden-Württemberg". Her work is feminist, direct and unfiltered, exploring power structures, bodies and identity. Since 2025, she has also performed as rapper "Mausi G", expanding her creative practice beyond cinema into music and performance.
