TOMORROW FFFB 8 kicks off!

FFFB 8 is coming incredibly close tomorrow we kick off the 8th edition of the Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin!

We’re opening Wednesday, October 7 at 7 PM Kino Moviemento with the Germany Premiere of Canadian feature “By Design” by Amanda Kramer. Starring Juliette Lewis, this surreal, darkly funny film turns a woman’s fixation on a chair into a wonderfully strange exploration of desire, identity and female objectification.

At 9:30 PM, our Opening Short Film Programme “Between You & Me” brings together 10 films exploring the messy, tender and surprising connections between sisters, families, friends, strangers and chosen families, followed by a big Q&A with attending filmmakers.

Then: five full festival days of cinema from around the world, Q&As with filmmakers, panels, networking, festival drinks and plenty of opportunities to meet, talk and celebrate film together. Films are screened in their original languages with English subtitles.

Come celebrate FFFB8 with us, we can’t wait to fill Kino Moviemento with filmmakers, film lovers and our festival community again.
