After eight years in prison, Noa, a 48-year-old Spanish Romani trans woman, fights to regain custody of her twin sons, now under state care. Facing eviction, she searches for a home with support from her cousin Mary Karmen and a group of friends living on the margins of Barcelona.

Filmed over five years, the documentary follows a group of trans women as they struggle to secure housing and build meaningful lives in a city that too often pushes them to its margins.

Rather than explaining or speaking for them, the director’s intention was to create a space where they could represent themselves in all their complexity, free from stereotypes or victimising narratives. By placing lives that are usually kept at the margins at the centre of the story, the film reveals how dignity, friendship and mutual care become powerful forms of resistance.
