As part of our "Resistance Thursday", we are screening the powerful Spanish feature documentary "CORREN LAS LIEBRES" ("Up & Running"), directed by Lorena Ros Sanz, produced by Novena Nube Producciones. 🇪🇸

After serving a ten-year sentence, Noa, a 48-year-old Catalan Roma trans woman, tries to start over and regain custody of her children, who are under statecare. To achieve this, she needs a home… but she is on the verge of eviction.Between hardship and resistance, solidarity, friendship, art and humour help her not give up.

🎥 Lorena Ros Sanz is an award-winning filmmaker, documentary photographer and journalist whose work explores memory, identity, trauma and social exclusion. A three-time World Press Photo winner, she developed the film through years of close collaboration with Barcelona’s Metzineres community.
