Film Intro: Fin People
When the world around us changes, do we adapt or hold on to the life we know?
"FIN PEOPLE" by Veronika Hozjan (Croatia/Slovenia ), takes us into a city slowly disappearing beneath the water. While some flee, others embrace their new reality by plunging in and mysteriously growing fins.
Surreal and poetic, "Fin People" uses fantasy to explore change, resistance, adaptation and what happens when the familiar world can no longer stay the same.
Veronika Hozjan is an artist and animator whose work moves between painting and animation, often exploring the spaces where reality and fantasy intersect.
