What lies beneath a world shaped by tradition, discipline and expectation?
"社畜 SHACHIKU" by Tatiana Higashida (Japan), is a music video created for the Japan-based international heavy rock band "Ask I Fall".
At the heart of this dark, cinematic world is a geisha student navigating a demanding life. Through an intentionally ambiguous narrative, Shachiku unfolds with unexpected twists, striking imagery, and a sense that nothing is quite what it seems.
Tatiana Higashida is a Tokyo-based video director and editor specializing in music videos and visual storytelling. Working across directing, editing and creative production, she develops projects from their initial concept through to the final cut.
