"THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE", by Anya Bazhenova (Czechia 🇨🇿), is a bittersweet 2D animated music video following a couple on a road trip across Europe as the world around them slowly collapses.

Created in collaboration with "Ukrainian artists" and inspired by the experiences of people living through the war, the film transforms stories of survival into a moving exploration of love, resilience, uncertainty and hope. "The Best Day of My Life" reminds us of the human connections that can keep us moving forward even when everything else feels unstable. 💜

Anya Bazhenova is a Ukrainian director and animator currently based in the Czech Republic. Through animation, Bazhenova brings together personal and collective experiences, using visual storytelling to find moments of tenderness and hope within difficult realities.
